Welcome!
Established in 1989, the Women's Resource Center seeks to promote, support, and empower women. It operates as the campus center for information and resources for women. The center is concerned with improving and maintaining the quality of services offered to the women of the Seton Hall University community.
Goals
- Increase awareness and understanding of women's issues
- Provide peer support
- Facilitate personal growth and development
- Serve as a referral source for women on campus
Opportunities
-
Programming: We at the Women’s Resource Center take pride in our programming because it allows us to show what issues need to be addressed regarding various women’s issues. We offer a number of programs geared toward issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, women’s history, and women’s health issues. We create programs that are fun yet educational and foster an environment that allow men and women to gain knowledge of special topics.
- Volunteering: Interested in becoming a volunteer for the WRC? Besides our wonderful staff, we also have a wonderful group of volunteers who assist us in programs and daily tasks. If you are interested please contact Dana Harris.
