Welcome to Aquinas Hall

Aquinas Hall is a co-ed residence hall housing approximately 340 students on three floors. During the 2006-2007 academic year, the 3rd floor will house first-year residents, while the 1st and 2nd floors will house returning upperclassmen and new transfer students. Aquinas Hall offers suite-style rooms that consist of 2 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom. Each suite houses 4-5 people. Each room has its own heating/cooling unit (see below for room dimensions and amenities). Aquinas Hall is part of the COMPASS (Collaborative Opportunities to Mature Personally, Academically, Socially and Spiritually) Program. For the 2006-2007 academic year it is the home to the Diplomacy and Political Science First-year Interest Groups (FIGs).

Matthew Schur Entering Seton Hall after four years as an Area Coordinator at Felician College in Lodi New Jersey, Matthew Schur brings with him the understanding of the importance of both serving the student academic and social needs as well as Seton Hall's University mission. Mr. Schur is an active member of NJCORE, an organization which is in place to better the professional minds and growth of Residence Life Administrators. His theme for Aquinas Hall for the 2007-2008 academic year is "Strength Through Personal Leadership". This theme is geared to promote personal accountability and healthy independence to maximize the students learning potential.
Mr. Schur currently holds degrees in Anthropology/Archaeology and will be in pursuit of his post graduate degrees here at Seton Hall University. His office is located in the Lobby of Aquinas Hall.
Meghan-Rose O’Neill is the Residence Coordinator (RC) for Aquinas Hall. Meghan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ with a BA in Political Science and History, and a minor in Sociology. She will be working towards her Masters degree from the Whitehead School of Diplomacy. Her office is located on the 3rd floor in Aquinas Hall.

Aquinas Hall Amenities
- 24-hour Security Desk
- Social Lounge is available for students on each of the three floors.
- A game room with a pool table, foosball, air-hockey and big screen TV.
- 3 laundry rooms (one on each floor) with 3 washers and 3 dryers in each laundry room. You may use quarters or your Seton Hall ID Pirate Dollars.
- Vending (soda and snacks) and a change machine that gives one dollar coins is located on the second floor by the main entrance.
- 24-hour study lounge is available for students on each of the three floors.
- Aquinas ATAs are available to assist you with your schoolwork throughout the academic year.
- The residence hall director's office is located in the lobby.

§ wired for phone including a free voice mail.
§ Cable TV including HBO, ESPN, and MTV is FREE to all residents.

Aquinas Hall Community
There are many ways to get involved and become part of the Aquinas Hall Community. Our staff offers numerous programs that encourage our residents’ involvement, growth and development. Aquinas Hall Council is great way to get involved and make a difference in your hall community, as well as contribute to its improvement. Remember to ask your RA how to get involved.
