Residence Halls Information
On campus residence halls:
Aquinas Hall
houses 336 first year and upper-class
students. This residence hall is arranged in two-room suites, each
sharing a private bathroom. A study lounge is available for students on
each of the three floors. The residence hall director's office is

Boland
Hall houses
704 first year students. Floors are arranged in theme-house style
allowing students with similar interests to live and learn. North
Boland is co-ed by floor and is arranged so two rooms share a bathroom.
South Boland is single gender by wing and is arranged so individual
rooms share a community bathroom. The Pirate's Cellar is located in the
basement and is available for studying, television, pool games,
programs, and other assorted activities. The residence hall
director's office is located on the first floor. You can contact the

The Complex
is made up of three individual residence halls that function as one area
under the supervision of the Complex Residence Hall Director. Each of
the three halls is arranged in two and three room suites, each sharing a
private bathroom. There are two lounges available for students on each
floor. In addition, a study lounge is located behind the reception
desk. The Complex Residence Hall Director’s office is located on the
first floor of Neumann Hall.

Cabrini Hall
houses 254 upper-class students. You can
contact the Cabrini Hall front desk at

Neumann Hall
houses 150 upper-class students. The
third floor in Neumann is reserved for female students only. You can
contact the Neumann Hall front desk at

Serra Hall
houses 153 upper-class students. You can
contact the Serra Hall front desk at 973-761-9756.
Xavier Hall
houses 517 upper-class students and it is
the home of the Sophomore Year Experience program. This residence hall
is arranged so two rooms share a bathroom. A study lounge and a game
lounge are available on the second and third floors. The Residence Hall
Director’s office is located on the first floor lobby. You can contact

Off campus residence halls:
Ora Manor
is located at 324
Valley Street. It houses
103
upper-class students and it offers apartment style living. Each
apartment has either two or three bedrooms that share a bathroom, a
kitchen and a living room. There is a community room in the basement
available for study groups and programs. The Residence Hall Director’s
office is located on the second floor and on campus in Aquinas Hall.

Turrell Manor
is located at 384
Turrell Avenue. It houses 83
returning SHU juniors and seniors who commit to the Turrell Manor
Servant Leadership and Academic Excellence Program. This residence hall
offers apartment style living in one, two, or three bedroom apartments.
Housing in Turrell Manor requires a separate housing application. The
Residence Hall Director’s office is located on campus at the Housing
Office in Duffy Hall.
