Information relating to Insurance and the waiver form procedure for 2008-09 is currently not available. Please check back at a future date (mid-Summer).
In compliance with New Jersey law, all students must have proof of health insurance coverage. All students will automatically be enrolled and charged for the Student Health Insurance Plan unless they submit a waiver that gives proof of alternative insurance coverage. For the 2007-08 academic year, student health insurance waivers will be completed and submitted on-line only. Click here to submit your waiver.
Only one waiver may be submitted per academic year. Changes, updates or corrections to waivers may be made only through Enrollment Services at (973) 761-9332 or bursar@shu.edu. For the fall 2007 term, waivers must be received no later than Wednesday, September 12, 2007. For the spring 2007 term, waivers must be received no later than Tuesday, January 15, 2008. All students who are registered for full-time studies and have not filed waivers by that date will be enrolled in a group health insurance plan and responsible for payment of the premium charged to the student's account. No exceptions to this policy will be made.
