What should I do if I have a medical emergency?
If you or someone else is suffering a medical emergency, CALL 911 from any campus telephone.

All 911 calls will go directly to the SOUTH ORANGE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
[Some examples of emergencies are; requesting help for an unconscious person, severe medical conditions and/or injuries and immediate threats to the safety of a person or property].
- What should I do if I have a psychological
[mental health] emergency?
If you or someone else is suffering a psychological emergency, please CALL 761-9500 [Counseling Services] Monday-Friday between 9-5pm. After hours/weekends, CALL #9300 Public Safety/Security and an On-Call Counselor will be contacted.

If a suicide attempt or threat has been made, CALL 911.
[Some examples of a psychological emergency include; severe emotional distress and suicidal thoughts]
Remember, please use the 911 system for emergencies.
