The Department of Community Development is proud to announce a call for nominations for the 2006-2007 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges recognition program. This is a 73 year old, national program that honors outstanding campus leaders annually for their scholastic and community achievements.
Please take a moment and nominate those Junior and Senior status students who have contributed so much to our campus community. In making your selections, please consider those upperclassmen whose academic standing, participation in extracurricular activities and community service are superior in nature. Attached to this letter you will find a nomination form. They are due back to the Department of Community Development, University Center room 221, by Friday, March 23, 2007.
The student winners will receive written notification from Who’s Who of their achievement. All SHU finalist will be listed in a display ad in the Setonian and invited to receive their certificates at the Annual Leadership Awards ceremony in April as part of the Petersheim Academic Exposition. In addition students in this year’s Who’s Who will be automatically entered into a national scholarship competition for the H.
