The Light and the Rose: The light and rose symbolize us as a community uniting together. As individuals we each have our own light and when we all stand together as one, we illuminate the world with beauty.

The Circle of Unity is formed by all members of Seton Hall University, around the SHU Seal on the Green, every first day in November. It is formed by all of you, our students, faculty, staff, and administrators, who work hard everyday to make sure our school is welcoming to of all its members. The Circle of Unity initiates Human Relations Month, and it is celebrated by programming that reflects the feelings of our university community.
