Steps for Requesting An Accommodation for Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

If you are a student at SHU: you must FIRST identify with the Office of Disability Support Services, Duffy Hall (second floor)

If you are not a student at SHU: you can request a letter from your Alma Mater or from an outside agency.  In either case, the letter must be prepared on official stationery and must include the specific accommodation request that you are seeking.

If you are an alumnus of SHU: and you have previously identified with the Office of Disability Support Services, this office can assist you.

If you are an alumnus of SHU: who has not previously identified with the Office of Disability Support Services, you must obtain an official letter from an outside agency.

Please refer to the Office of Disability Support Services Web site to view the paperwork requirements for an  accommodation.

· If you are a current student or previously identified alumnus/na who is eligible for an accommodation, Disability Support Services, will prepare the necessary paperwork/documentation on the appropriate stationery.

· The Office of Disability Support Services will then send the paperwork to The Career Center’s MAT administrator.

·The Career Center’s MAT administrator will be responsible for forwarding documentation to Harcourt/Psychological Corporation.

· The Career Center’s MAT administrator is also responsible for communicating Harcourt/Psychological Corporation’s decision to you and making the necessary testing accommodations.  No accommodation will be provided without the approval of Harcourt/Psychological Corporation.
