Career
exploration and preparation workshops are offered on a regular basis
during the academic year and we encourage faculty to encourage
student participation. We have found that offering “extra credit” or
incorporating a workshop into an existing course requirement works
well.
Additionally, to address the specific needs of faculty,
“customized” workshops have been developed on topics such as:
- Career Exploration and Assessment (Focus Interpretations and
Strong Interest Inventory Interpretations)
- Portfolio Development Networking
- Resume Writing Interviewing
- Skills/Values Assessments
- Online Job Searching
- What To Do With a Major In . . . ?
- Conducting a Government Employment Job Search
- Behavioral Interviewing: Seeking the Right Motivational Fit
- Networking and Promoting Yourself

related topics, call The Career Center (973-761-9355) or email:
