ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS (OCR)

Employer’s Responsibilities:

Complete the on-line “On-Campus Interview Request Form” (available at the  bottom of this page). The form allows you to indicate the contact information of the interviewer(s), request critical aspects of your interview schedule, and provide a position description.  Note: When considering your schedule, The   Career Center office hours are 8:45 AM - 4:45 PM with the first interview       beginning no earlier than 9:00 AM.

  • The hiring employer is responsible for screening and selecting candidates received.  Applications will come through our eRecruiting system via e-mail.  Your final list of “pre-selected” candidates should be shared with The Career Center at least one (1) week prior to the On-Campus Interview date.
  • Should you need to cancel your scheduled On-Campus Interview date, please contact The Career Center at least one (1) week in advance; 973-761-9355.

The Career Center’s Responsibilities:

The Career Center will confirm requested interview date, interview room, and   post employment information within two (2) days of receiving the “On-      Campus Interview Request Form” and description of the employment        opportunity.

  • Employment information will be posted on The Career Center’s internal, on-line, career management system, Navigator/eRecruiting.  All students registered with The Career Center have access to this system, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Once the employer makes candidate decisions and forwards the final list of “pre-selects” to The Career Center, students chosen for interviews will be able to sign up on-line through Navigator/eRecruiting.
  • The employer will be provided with a final interview schedule at least two (2) business days prior to the interview date.
