What is FOCUS? FOCUS is an invaluable career assessment tool for everyone.  FOCUS can help you decide on career goals and action plans by increasing your awareness of your talents, interests, values, personality and potential for success in certain careers.

How do I access and complete FOCUS?
Follow the steps below to complete FOCUS:

• Log in to myWeb@SHU
• Click on the Community Tab
• Click on Career Center Resources
• Select Class of 2012 on the left side of the screen and follow instructions

How long does it take? On average FOCUS takes approximately 40 minutes, you can spend additional time researching different occupational choices, check out the 300+ occupational videos!

What’s Next? By the time you’ve completed FOCUS, you’ll have received a great deal of information about yourself and about potential majors and careers. The best way to understand your results is to meet with a professional from The Career Center who will assist you with interpreting the information.
